Born in Shadyside, Ohio on February 15, 1924 to William E. and Lula Abbott. Clifford was a graduate of West High School and the University of Akron. He served in the U.S. Army Corps. during World War II. He was a chemist for Phillips Petroleum for 34½ years and was an active member of Park U.M.C. where he was very faithful in his stewardship and held various positions.
Service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday at Park U.M.C., 2308 24th St., SW, Akron, OH 44314 with Rev. Dr. Linda Somerville officiating. Private interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call 3 to 6 p.m. TODAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron.
