Death Summons Mrs. John Graham
Native of Ontario--21 Years in Western Canada--Resided at Erickson Since 1910--Leaves Husband and Two Sons.
The heavy hand of death has again been felt at Erickson with the passing of Mrs. John Graham, after a lingering illness, at an early hour on Tuesday morning.
Deceased, who was in her 68 year [sic], was a native of Motherwell, Perth county, Ontario, and was married at St. Mary's, Ontario, in 1900 living in that town and Guelph until coming to Wetaskiwin, Alberta, in 1908, where Mr. and Mrs. Graham were residents, for about two years, moving to Erickson in 1910, where they have resided ever since.
The funeral took on Wednesday to Creston cemetery, with Rev. R. E. Cribb officiating, and E. Cartwright, F. Clark, Jas. Murphy, Bert Young, Ed. Martin and John Bird acted as pallbearers, and a large turnout of friends and neighbors to pay a last tribute of respect, while the many floral rememberances [sic] also bespoke the high regard in which she was held.
She leaves a husband and two sons, Will and Hugh, at home to mourn her passing. Although her death was not unexpected it is not the less keenly felt by many by whom she was held in highest esteem. The late Mrs. Graham displayed all the estimable qualities of wife, mother and neighbor and in their great loss Mr. Graham and the boys will have the sincere sympathy of all...
