William Russell Swinburn 1924
Marjorie Marie Storms 1924-2010
Sibling of:
David Philip Swinburn 1948-
Loretta Ray Swinburn
Jay William Swinburn
Bob died April 8, 2009 from complications following an automobile/bicycle accident that occurred January 16, 2009.
Bob was an avid collector of clocks and watches and was always happy to receive a new one.
His love of music was contagious. He liked most all kinds of music and had hundreds of albums and cds.
Bob loved going to the movies and his siblings were happy to invite him whenever they went.
He could be seen daily riding his bicycle to and from work at the Orange County Association for retarded citizens (OCARC) where he worked as an engraver for over 47 years. Many of those trips from work were side-tracked to the home of his brother David. He loved to help his sister-in-law, repeating an oft-heard litany that she really needed his help, and no truer words were ever spoken. He was always willing to jump in and do anything that was asked of him. For his brother he always did the "heavy-lifting" of any project that was ongoing. For his sister-in-law there was always a sink full of dishes that he was happy to tackle. It was a sad time when relocation moved David and Gina's home out of his bicycle path.
Bobby was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS).
He was extremely fearful of storms and always kept an eye out for serious weather events.
He was an exceptional person, loved by virtually everyone and loving everyone in return. Truly a gentle person with a servants heart, he left shoes that no one can ever fill.
