Nancy J. Barnes

A funeral service for Nancy J. Barnes, 53, of Newark, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Criss - Kirkpatrick Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Perry officiating. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery.

Mrs. Barnes, a hostess at Olive Garden, died Aug. 9, 2000, at her residence. She was born July 10, 1947, in Newark to the late Carl A. and Jamimah Louise (Burt) Jungling.

Mrs. Barnes was a member of Liberty Methodist Church and the Newark Moose Lodge 499.

She is survived by her husband, Fred L. Barnes, of Newark; sons and daughters - in - law, Harvey A. and Carol Clark, Jr. and Tim E. and Shelly A. Clark, all of Newark; a daughter, Sherry Lynn Torrez, of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren; stepsons, Michael and Billy Barnes, of Circleville and Tim Barnes, of Newark; a brother, Paul R. Jungling, of Johnstown; and a sister, Helen Burgoon of Alexandria.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by by one Sister, Alice Rostofer.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Central Ohio, 1435-B W. Main St., Newark Ohio 43055.
