Frances Atkins Lane, 88, died at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC, Monday, July 16, 2012. Memorial services will be held 4:00 P.M. Graveside, Wednesday, July 20, 2012, in Union Cemetery in Latta, SC.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 19, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at her residence, 611 Lucky Run, Latta, SC. Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta, SC is assisting the family.

Mrs. Lane was born in Latta, SC, August 14, 2012, the daughter of the late Everette and Sarah Pearce Atkins. She was the widow of Jack Paschal and Edwin E. Lane. She was a member of Latta United Methodist Church where she served on the Administration Board of the Church and was a member of the Wesleyan Circle. Mrs. Lane was a member of the Dillon County Historical Society, Treasurer of the Dillon County Museum, and a member of the St. Eugene Hospital Auxiliary.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Eddie Morrison of Latta, SC, Everette Paschal of North Myrtle Beach, SC, and Andy Bryant of Dillon, SC, and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Buddy Paschal and her daughter, Sarah Morrison.

Memorials may be made to the Union Cemetery Fund, 1157 Highway 38 West, Latta SC 29565 or Latta United Methodist Church, 306 North Marion St., Latta, SC 29565.
