Isaac Sherman Dilley was born November 9, 1866, and died at his home in Windsor, November 21, 1916, aged fifty years and twelve days. The deceased was the son of William H. and Caroline [Angeline] Thornburg Dilley. He was initiated into Windsor I.O.O.F. No. 517, December 30, 1905 and was a continuous member to the time of his death. He was also a member of the D.of R. No. 533
As a brother, he was always ready to do his part and in lodge he was always cheerful, sociable and affectionate. As a citizen and business man, he was unexcelled. He was a member of the Windsor Christian Church. He was buried with honors of Odd fellowship, November 23, 1916. The funeral services were held at Union chapel, conducted by Rev. N.H. Thornburg.
He leaves behind to mourn his loss an aged mother, five brothers and a host of relatives and friends.
There was a resolution included by the lodge which was to be presented to the family, the press and in the minutes of the lodge.
