Willie Hunt
Funeral services for Willie Hunt, were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 11, at Shiloh Baptist Church. Burial followed in Shiloh Cemetery. Rev. Eddie King and Rev. Bob Goolsby officiated the service.
A native of Marion County, Hunt died September 9 at his residence at Rt.3, Foxworth. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and was formerly employed in the oil field industry.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jessie Mae Hunt and his son, Charlie Henry Hunt. He is survived by a son, Wendell Hunt of Foxworth, a daughter, Evelyn Sylvest of Baton Rouge, La., eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Herman Hunt, and Langston Hunt both of Foxworth; five sisters, Ruby Bailey, Sylvia McCain and Euna Williamson of Kokomo and Doris Gills of Franklinton, La; and a number
of nieces and nephews.
