Bernard Wilbershide, 61, retired St. Nazianz farmer who had been residing in Manitowoc the last three years, died Saturday morning at Manitowoc after a lingering illness.
He was born in the Town of Eden in 1893, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Wilbershide. He married the former Elizabeth Hein in 1915 and the couple lived in the St. Nazianz area until three years ago.
Funeral services will be held at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz, at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral home in Manitowoc from tonight until 9 o'clock Tuesday morning.
Survivors include the widow, two daughters, Mrs. Herman Meyer, Sturgeon Bay, and Mrs. Roy Fessler, Manitowoc; one son, Bernard, Jr., Atlantic Ga.: two brothers, Matt Wilbershide of Altomont, Kan., and Atty. J. C. Wilbershide of Racine: one sister, Mrs. Peter Voigt, Chilton and three grandchildren.
