Adeline D. Gagnon, 88, formerly of Village Green East, Two Rivers, died Wednesday at the Friendly Village Nursing Home, Rhinelander, Wis., where she had resided the past three years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke's Catholic Church. Msrgr. Alfred Schneider will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
She was born July 29, 1903, in the town of Two Rivers, of the late Nicholas and Mary PalmTaddy. She married Martin Gagnon October 7, 1924, at St. Luke's Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in death April 18, 1966. She was a longtime member of St. Luke's Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Floyd and Jerry Gagnon of Rhinelander, Evan and Audrey Gagnon of Beaver Dam; a daughter-in-law, Pat Gagnon, of Menominee Falls, Wis.; two sisters, Cecelia Becker and Genevieve Francis, both of Sheboygan; a sister-in-law, Alice Flegle of Two Rivers; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Glenn, a daughter-in-law, Alice, two grandsons, Larry Gagnon, of Menominee Falls and Gary Gagnon of DePere; seven brothers, Joe, Nick, John, Bill, Paul, George and Anton, and five sisters, Agnes, Julia, Mary, Kate and Rose.
Friends may call at St. Luke's Church from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, is assisting with arrangements.

Marriage of Martin/Adeline Gagnon
The marriage of Miss Adeline Taddy, daughter of Mrs. Mary Taddy and Martin W. Gagnon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Urban Gagnon, of Two Rivers was solemnized at St. Luke's church Tuesday morning. Rev. H. A. Little said the ceremony in the presence of relative and friends. The bride carried a shower bouquet of Ophelia roses and wore a dress of white satin charmeuse. The attending couples were Misses Cecile Taddy, Helen Monka and Genevieve Taddy and Anton Taddy, Peter Gates and Herman Gagnon. The newlyweds left on a wedding trip to Rapids River, Mich. They will be at home to friends here Oct. 14.
