Paul J. Gagnon, 79, formerly of 2007 13th St., Two Rivers, died Sunday in Hamilton Home, Two Rivers. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mark Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. John Neuser will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mr. Gagnon was born July 30, 1898 in Quebec, Canada, son of the late Victiel and Marie Goslin Gagnon. He married Georgianna Belisle February 13, 1919 in International Falls, Minn. He was a retired elevator operator for Mirro Aluminum Co. and a member of St. Mark Holy Name Society and the Owls Club.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Darriol of Westminster, Md., and Norman of Oshkosh; two daughters, Mrs. Burges Blackburn of Park Rapids, Minn., and Mrs. John Kelley of Crookston, Minn.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Gidean Gagnon of International Falls and five grandchildren.
Friends may call in Klein & Stangel Inc. Funeral Home, Two Rivers after 5 p.m. Tuesday where a memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m. (Manitowoc Herald Times, Monday, June 5, 1978 page 3)

ARM CRUSHED IN ROLL
Paul Gagnon of this city, aged 26, suffered the loss of his right arm Sunday as the result of an accident Saturday morning while at work in the rolling mill of Aluminum Goods Plant No. 4. Gagnon was at work, while the rolls were moving, wiping off the oil and is said to have leaned on the rolls. His arm was drawn in
and the elbow completely crushed. The rolls were set a little over an inch apart.
It was found necessary to amputate the arm. Gagnon, who is married, resides at 1812 S. Thirteenth St. (The Reporter, Fri., May 16, 1924)
