CLYDE AIKEN DIES AT HOME IN CUTLER
CUTLER - Clyde D. Aiken, 82, died at 5:43 p.m., Monday, at his home in Cutler. The retired farmer was born on September 26, 1880 in Carroll County, the son of Willard and Laura Bell (Julien) Aiken. His marriage on 16 Nov 1898 was to Bertha May Cunningham. He was a member of the Flora Christian Church in Flora, Indiana. Surviving with his wife are four daughters: Faye Ruth (Aiken) Hanemann of Orange, Florida; Hilda Grace (Aiken) Glover of Lafayette, Indiana; Donnabell (Aiken) McCrea of Tucson, Arizona, and Imogene (Aiken) Smithe of Freeport, Illinois; 24 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. One brother, Ray Aiken of Fort Wayne, Indiana preceded him in death last Sunday; and a son, Earl Roscoe Aiken.

Friends may call at Carter Funeral Home in Flora, Indiana after 2 p.m., Wednesday. Funeral rites will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery, Rossville, Indiana.

60th ANNIVERSARY
Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Aiken will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on November 16th with a few relatives at dinner. Mr. Aiken is 78 and Mrs. Aiken is 77. They have four daughters, Mrs. Martin Goldstein of Inglewood, California; Mrs. Virgil McCrea of Tucson, Arizona; Mrs. Jack Smithe of Freeport, Illinois; and Mrs. Blish Glover of Cutler, Indiana. One son is deceased. They also have 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
