Thelma Elizabeth (White) Dwinnells, age 85, of Pace, passed away May 31, 2012.

She was born Sept. 6, 1926 in Winchester, Mass. to Orville and Hazel White. She was the youngest of three children having a sister, Shirley and a brother, Bill. They were a close New England family.

Dwinnells was a member of the Garden Club and the Eastern Star for years. She enjoyed her weekly bowling team, ceramics, gardening, the RSVP Club and using her computer to email family and friends regularly. She and her husband Luther traveled in their RV up and down the eastern coast. They also loved to go on cruises. Dwinnells used her pool daily for exercise and was an avid reader of health of politics. She enjoyed family gatherings and "Potluck" dinners.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Luther Meredith; her nieces, Viki Knisbell and Margaret White; nephews, Lloyd Knisbell, Joe Knisbell and Bill White; great niece, Jennifer Knisbell; great nephew, Joshua Knisbell. Her family grew when she married Luther, having inherited a wonderful step-daughter, Amelia and her husband Fred Shepard; and grandchildren, Bobby and Ashley Shepard. Her Framingham, Mass. family is her grandchildren, Billy, Cindy, Danny and Eric Dwinnells. Last, but not least, Thelma always loved and raised poodles throughout her life, each new poodle was always named "Susie," her present Susie misses her today, as do her husband and entire family and friends.

Funeral services were Monday June 4, at the Chapel of National Cremation and Burial Society. Interment followed in Memory Park Cemetery.
