Johnny, the four year old son of Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Hummer of Sedalia, died on the 10th of December of diphtheria after being sick for five days. His brother, Eddie preceded him but one week, having suffered the same disease. The sympathy of the entire community is with the bereaved family in this affliction.
