Martha Nelson, 55, died at 9:20 o'clock Friday evening at the home of her sister, Mrs. J.A. Strathearn, 507 N. 4th street, after an illness of several weeks. Death was due to pneumonia.

The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at the Frazier mortuary, services to be conducted at 1:30 p.m. by the W.B.A. and at two o'clock by the Rev. C. H. Phipps, pastor of the First Presbyterian church. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

The deceased was born in Lansing, Ia., Aug. 18, 1882(sic). She made her home with the Strathearns at Kaukauna for a number of years and moved to this city with them in 1917.

The survivors are one son, William Stanton, of this city; three sisters, Mrs. J. A. Strathearn, Manitowoc; Mrs. Bertha Zekind, Madison; and Miss Grace O. Nelson, Milwaukee.

She was an official of the W.B.A. and active in the organization for many years.
