Robert John Kohlbeck, age 71, of Clarks Mills, passed away Friday morning, February 19, 1993 at the Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Clarks Mills, with Father John Conrad officiating and burial to follow at the church cemetery.
He was born October 17, 1921, on the Town of Cato, son of the late Anton and Clara Vogel Kohlbeck. He attended St. Mary’s School in Clarks Mills and Valders High School. He was employed in construction for many years and retired from Spancrete Inc. of Valders. He married Dolores Denk on September 8, 1945 at Clarks Mills. He was an honorary member of the Clarks Mills Sportsmans Club, a Third Degree Knights of Columbus Member, No. 710, a member of the Catholic Knights and St. Mary’s Holy Name Society. Robert was a very avid outdoorsman.
Survivors include his wife, Dolores; one son, Terry and his fiancée, Heidi Klein, Clarks Mills; one daughter and son-in-law, Jayette and Robert Marsicek, New Holstein. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at the Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders from 5-8 p.m. Sunday and Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. There will be a prayer service Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. with Father Conrad.
