Clayton Papers a the Caroliniana Library at USC in Columbia: "Buckhead" ....the Rev Soldier Major Tom (Lyles) willed it to his granddaughter Sallie dt of Wm Strother Lyles, and she married John C Feaster, and left the place to her adopted daughter, Augusta Salyer Crowder...
