Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Reedsville Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. The Rev. Leander Nickel will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Denk was born Mary Kohlbeck May 10, 1882, in the Town of Cato, daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Ripp Kohlbeck. She was married to Charles Denk Sept. 29, 1908, at Clarks Mills and they observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1953. Mr. and Mrs. Denk farmed in the Town of Cato until their retirement 10 years ago. They had been residing at the Maple Crest Nursing Home the past two months.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Frank, of Rt. 2, Reedsville; a daughter, Mrs. Lester (Marie) Peroutka, of Oshkosh; three brothers, Louis of Whitelaw and George and Ferd of Rt. 1, Cato; a sister, Mrs. Ed Brunner, of Whitelaw; 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A son preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock this Monday evening.
