SHREWSBURY - Dr. Jeffery Graham Piper, 40, died Feb. 6, 2004, at his residence.

He was born on Dec. 31, 1963, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Joseph C. and Lynn (Graham) Piper.

He married Kim Tutaj on Oct. 17, 1992.

He graduated from Valley High School in 1982 and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1989. His residency was at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and his fellowship was at the University of Texas Southwestern.

He was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Fraternity.

Dr. Piper had worked for Eye Care Associates for the last seven years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and falconry.

Survivors include his wife; his parents of Des Moines and Naples, Fla., a sister, Ann Kathryn Piper of Woodward, Iowa; three brothers, Joseph Piper of Phoenix, James Piper of Great Falls, Va., and John Piper of Des Moines; and several nieces and nephews.
