Martin Lee Adams, 83, of Mokane, MO died Friday, October 20, 2000 at Riverview Nursing Home in Mokane. He was born July 7, 1917 in Callaway County to the late Oscar and Myrtle (Craighead) Adams. His siblings were: Richard, Robert (memorial #21411477), Kenneth, Odie and Lucille (Adams) Hawkins. His children were: Carolyn (Adams) Bezler, Mary Lou (Adams) Stiers, Janet (Adams) Wolfmeier, Terry Lynn Adams (memorial #196993231), Freda (Adams) Johnson, and Judy (Adams) Hook. A brother, a son and a grandson preceded him in death. Martin worked in the maintenance department at Fulton State Hospital for many years as well as running Grandpa's Baitshop in Fulton. He is remembered as having a strong heart for strangers in need.
