JOSEPH ADAMS

Joseph Adams, a Civil War veteran, who for many years resided in Union District, died on Sunday, Jan. 28th, at the home of his son, Clark, at Archers Fork, O. His remains were brought to this city on Monday evening and taken to the home of his step-daughter, Mrs. W. L. Neeley. On Tuesday morning a funeral service was held here, and the remains were taken to Bens Run on 74 at 1:20 for burial.

(Note: Served in Company C, 7th WV Infantry. Buried at Bibbee (Adams) Cemetery, Pleasants County.)
