Mr. Good passed away Sunday, June 6, 1976 after an extended illness at the V.A. Hospital in Cheyenne. A retired baker he was born in Plainsville, Kansas Feb 4, 1892. He was married to Dorothea Love who preceded him in death September 16, 1964.
A resident in this area since early 1900, Mr. Good served his country in the U.S. Army during World War I. He was a member of the United Church of Christ.
He was a past member of the Loyal Order of the Moose; a present member of I.O.O.F., a lifetime member of Masonic Lodge #16, and a past member of VFW and American Legion. In 1970 he was recognized for being a 50 year member of OES.
In death, he is survived by two brothers, Dr. G.H. Good of Wheatland and Arlo B. Good of Waldport, Oregon; and two sisters, Julia Carroll and Laura Whalen. One brother, Ed Good preceded him death.
Bill Danner, Jim Perdue, Darrow Blow, G.O. Nixson, Howard Fish and Ed Cressy served as pallbearers. Schrader-Prell Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
A memorial Fund has been established to the Platte County Ambulance Fund in care of Schrader-Prell Funeral Home.
