Frank L. Arts, 64, of 1305-A S. 14th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning at
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been a patient the past three
weeks.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced Wednesday by Pfeffer
Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
He was born July 8, 1895 at DePere, Wis., son of the late John and Johanna
Bogart Arts. He married the former Minnie Cook Aug. 26, 1917, at Montello, Wis.,
and the couple moved to Manitowoc in 1924. He was employed at Manitowoc
Engineering Corp. for the past 17 years and was a member of Machinists Local
516.
Surviving are his wife; two daughgers, Mrs. John Mathies of Denmark and Mrs.
Casimer Salkowski of Manitowoc; a brother, John of Manitowoc; five sisters,
Mrs. Delia Williamson of Campbell, Calif., Mrs. Christine Gottler of DePere,
Mrs. Fred Cormier of Green Bay, Mrs. Lidia Street of St. Paul, Minn., and Mrs.
Clifford Schaut of Sheboygan; and eight grandchildren.
