Shirley E. Aumann, age 78, a resident of Manitowoc Health Care Center, Manitowoc.
died Sunday evening, Dec. 4, 2005, at the center.
Shirley was born on March 28, 1927, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Ervin and
Adeline LeCoque. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc with the
class of 1945. On July 3, 1948 she married Lloyd Aumann at St. Boniface Catholic
Church. He preceded her in death on May 12, 1992.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law: Vickie Aumann, Manitowoc; and
Cindy and Dean Delsman, Green Bay; two sons and daughters-in-law: Tim and Karen
Aumann, Fort Meyers, Fla.; and Larry and Gerri Aumann, Manitowoc; four grandchildren:
Dawn (Eric) Aumann Weyenberg; Shannon (Eric) Thiry; Tara (Reuben) Kaye; Stacey
(Brandon) McMurdie; three great-grandchildren: Kendra and Adriana Aumann Weyenberg;
Logan Thiry; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Faye and Jim Janssen, Green Bay;
Darlene Mannarino, Manitowoc; two brothers and sisters-in-law; Donald and Ruth LeCoque,
DePere; Ervin and Louise LeCoque, Crystal Lake, Ill.; nieces, nephews, other relatives
and friends also survive.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 5 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8,
2005, at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, from 10 a.m.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, at The Pfeffer
Funeral Home, Manitowoc, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Manitowoc Health Care Center, especially
Sandy Ammerman, Dr. Tracy Hoffman and a special friend, Myrtle Krueger, for their
care and compassion.
She was a kind and gentle woman who loved her husband, children, and grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed.
