Louise Dupre had black hair and green eyes (as she described herself in "Grandmother Remembers". She didn't feel old enough to be called grandma, she would tell us, so we called her Weeze or Weezy girl. When the family would get together Weeze would be in the dining room with all the grandkids playing games. She taught us how to play Spoons and 20 Questions. When she came to visit us she always brought everyone a gift, which she would pull out of her trunk. Louise raised 8 children, 1 son and 7 daughters.
