Robert L. "Bob" Bennett, 108, died Sunday morning in a Beard hospital after a long illness.
Born in Hinton on Sept. 18, 1870 he was a life long resident of the city and a retired section foreman of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Co.
Surviviors include one son, Franklin James of Brooks, one daughter, Mrs. Sally Jackson, of Sunland, Calif., two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton is in charge of the arrangements.
