Mrs. Bowman, 81, Dies At Her Home In Shirley
Mrs. Gabriel Bowman, age 81, died at her home in Shirley this morning. She was the widow of Harry Bowman.
Mrs. Bowman was a member of the Shirley Christian Church and the Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are two granddaughters: Mrs. Gene Ulrey of Shirley and Mrs. James Painter of Springport; two half-brothers: Frank Rafferty of New Palestine and Muriel Rafferty of Shelbyville; and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the Shirley Christian Church with burial in McCray Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence Wednesday afternoon.
