She was born Oct. 10, 1894, in Elgin, the daughter of Adolph and Jeanette Westphal Sommers.
Surviving are three sons, George, Harold and Robert Groneman, all of Elgin; a brother, Alfred Sommers of Elgin; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph on July 1, 1953; two daughters in infancy; a sister; and two brothers, Clarence and Albert.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Wait-Ross-Allanson Funeral Chapel, Elgin, the Rev. Gary L. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today in the chapel.
