Rites for Former Carnegie Woman In Oklahoma City
Services were at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Hahn chapel in Oklahoma City for Miss Celeste Gabel who died Monday after being ill since December.
A former Carnegie girl and granddaughter of the late Mrs. J.R. Cox, Miss Gabel left here with her family in the early 20's. She has been a teacher in the City schools almost 30 years and was on the faculty of the Shields school, Oklahoma City when she became ill.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Ida Gabel, 127 SE 37th, Oklahoma City and three sisters and three brothers, Mrs. J.W. Busbee and Jared and Kenneth Gabel, Oklahoma City Mrs. W.C. Points, Los Angeles, and Mrs. J.J. Beall and Leon W. Gabel, Seattle.
