Age 57, of Lake Station, passed away May 4, 2002, in Valparaiso. He was a 35 year area resident, coming from Illinois. He was an avid CB operator and Ham operator. Veteran of the U.S. Army and Navy. He will be missed by his son William Haskell of Lake Station; daughters, Susan Haskell of Kentland, Sheryl Haskell of Black Oak and Nancy Haskell of Lake Station; brothers, Norman (Patricia) Haskell and Charles (Cathy) Haskell, both of Portage; sisters MaryAnn Snowdy of Valparaiso and Carol (Jim) Rosendaul of Lake Station; special nieces and nephews; and all relatives from Missouri. He is preceded in death by parents, Henry and Market Haskell and wife RuthAnn and nephew Michael Haskell. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 9, 2002 at the Christopher funeral Home, 1307 Central Ave., Lake Station with interment at Blake Cemetery, Portage, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorials are to be made to the family.
