Deceased Name: MOTT
MOTT, Charles E. - Of Mt. Morris, age 86, died Monday, March 19, 2007 at Heartland Fostrian Health Care Center in Flushing. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Genesee County. Charles was born November 6, 1920 in Greenbush, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Louise (Rouse) Mott. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II from 1942 to 1945. He owned and operated Mott Bros. Hardware in Mt. Morris for 47 years, served as Thetford Twp. Supervisor for four years and was on the Mt. Morris School Board for two years. Left to cherish his memory are his brother: Wellington Mott and his sister: Bernice Erickson. Charles was preceded in death by his parents.
