Don was born at Newburg Missouri to parents William L. and Ollie Chandler DeLong.He and three brothers and three sisters moved with their parents to Alabama.He was a Gunner during the Korean Conflict and later married and settled in Corpus Christi Texas.Don's love of automobiles landed him in Titusville Fl. in April 1981.He was the owner of American Auto Sales and most recently owned Lemuel's Auto Sales on Hopkins Avenue.Don had a loving,caring spirit helping any that were in need.Don at one time attended Titusville Church of God on Knox McRae Drive,now known as Community Cross Roads Church of God. A memorial was held at 2:00 pm Thursday July 19,2012 at New Life Fellowship,6755 South Washington Ave. Titusville He is survived by his daughter Debra Lee Dean of Dallas/FtWorth Texas,a grandson Ben Adicks(Lisa) of Corpus Christi Tx.,two great grand daughters Amber and Ashley Adicks, two sisters,Dorothy Haynes of Washington state and Helen D.Powell(Bill) of Titusville Fl.,nephew Richard Evangelista (Joan)of Titusville,two nieces,Donna Faenza(John) of Mims Fl. and Tonya Witt(Billy)of Titusville Fl.,and many great nieces and nephews.
