Nancy Lee (Jewell) Barrows, age 65, of Framingham, died, Monday, July 23, 2012 at Metrowest Medical Center, Framingham.
She was the wife of 43 years to Harold Victor Barrows of Framingham.
Born in Lynn, MA, she was the daughter of the late Bertrand and Marion (Woodbury) Jewell.
Mrs. Barrows graduated from Framingham North High School in1965 and attended Chandler Secretarial School.
She worked for the TJX Corporation in Framingham for 32 years.
Mrs. Barrows was a member of the Orient Chapter #31 and order of Eastern Star, had served on the Rainbow Advisory Board Assembly #47 of Framingham and was also a faithful member of Wesley United Methodist Church throughout her life.
She was an upbeat lady who deeply loved her music, her flute and her organ lessons. She was always planning her next vacation.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Paul Barrows and his wife Dr. Linda Rogers of Holliston, and Kenneth Barrows of Tampa FL. She is also survived by two grandsons, David and Brandon.
She leaves her devoted sister, Diane and her husband Raymond Bass of Sutton, MA, two brothers Frank Jewell and his wife Susan of Northborough, and Gary Jewell of Bridgewater, NH, brother-in-law Geno Barrows and his wife Marianne of Ashland. In addition she is survived by a niece and two nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at 10 AM at Wesley United Methodist Church, 80 Beacon St., Framingham.
Burial will take place at Edgell Grove Cemetery, Framingham.
Visiting hours will be from 5PM – 8PM, Wednesday July 25, 2012 at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St., Framingham
