Burma Mae Allshouse, 79, of Ashland, Ky., formerly of Irwin, passed from this life at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, on Thursday, May 24, 2007, with her family by her side. Mae was born April 1, 1928, in Alabama City, Ala., a daughter of the late Jesse and Lillie Mashburn Chamblee. She was a retired cafeteria worker with Penn-Trafford School District and attended or was a member of Harrison City Community Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Mae was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, George R. Allshouse; a daughter, Karen Benjamin; three brothers, Omer Chamblee, Pat Chamblee and Shields Chamblee; and a great-grandchild, Morgan Rae Phillips. She is survived by three children, Judy Bazzo, of Ashland, Ky., Raymond Allshouse, of Jeannette, and Kimberly Kunkle, of Indianapolis, Ind.; two brothers, C.O. Chamblee, of Attalla, Ala., and Marshall Chamblee, of Fayetteville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
