Richard E. Neuses, 68, Stratford, Connecticut, died Feb. 18, 1986.
He was born Feb. 4, 1918 in Janesville to the late Richard and Edith (Helander) Neuses. He married Ruth W. Weber in Manitowoc May 22, 1941.She preceded him in death Dec. 9, 1971.
Mr. Neuses was employed by Manitowoc Engineering Company until 1953 when he became a principle in McMullen & Pitz Construction Company, Manitowoc. He retired in 1971. He later married Elizabeth Barich of Stanford, Connecticut in 1973 and the couple relocated to Stratford.
Survivors include his wife, one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Marie Neuses, Denmark; four step daughters, Ann Smith and Barbara Wuchiski, both of Fairfield, Conn., Cindy Haynes, Norwalk, Conn., and Debbie Barich, San Clemente, Calif; two sisters, Patricia Reinhardt, Green Lake; Elizabeth Saunders, Vero Beach, Fla.; nine grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services and funeral were held on Sat., Feb. 22, 1986 in Fairfield, Connecticut with burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield, Conn.
