Texas, passed away Sunday at the age of 56. Gilbert was born to James Dawson and Joann Irene (Regan) Dawson. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Patricia Dawson Etienne.
Gilbert is survived by his wife Vicki Scott Dawson, daughters Olivia Renee Gross with her husband Dwight, Ashley Nicole Delaney, step-son Daniel Cook with his wife Kristene and step-daughter Rachel Karstens with her husband Christopher. Gilbert is also survived by his sisters, Deborah Dawson Cogsdil with her husband Dino and Janie Dawson Atoum with her husband Adnan. Also left to treasure his memory are six grandchildren.
