Cora I. Barron, 86, of Somerset RD 3 died Nov. 5, 1993, at Somerset Hospital. Born June 27, 1907, in Berlin. Daughter of the late Logan Alex and Missouri Ellen (Maust) Shaulis. Also preceded in death by husband Leroy Edward Barron on Feb. 11, 1976; son, Robert Barron, twin sons, Jack and James L. "Doc" Barron; and a daughter Dona Lee Hammond; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Harvey and Amile Shaulis. Survived by these children: Mrs. Lloyd W. (Margaret) Shaulis, Somerset RD 3; Thomas D. Barron, Somerset RD 3; Fred E. Barron, Fairhope; Mrs. Ralph W. (Linda) Hottle, Somerset RD 3; 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren. Member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Friends will be received 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Sherman H. Berkey officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Family suggests contributions to SW Pa. Chapter of the American Heart Association, 318 Broad St., Johnstown Pa. 15906.
