Frank Krainik's Demise Is Great Shock to Friends-Aged 32
Ill for a month but confined to his bed only three days, Frank Krainik, a well known young man of the city died Saturday afternoon, the demise being due to typhoid fever.
Descendent was a son of Mrs. Wenzel Krainik and was 32 years of age, having been born in this city and always made his home here. He was associated with his brothers in the firm of Krainik Bros., conducting a general merchandise store on Buffalo street and as agent for the Union Tea Co., was widely known.
Married in 1899 to Miss Amanda Hoffman, he is survived by a widow and one child, besides his mother and four brothers, John, Anton, Emil and Charles and six sisters, Mrs. A. J. Fanta, Mrs. A. Chermak, the Misses Alvina, Bessie, Adelaide and Blanche. The funeral will be held Tuesday from the home, with interment at Evergreen.
Mr. Krainik was an active member of the Knights of Maccabees and was a leading worker in the lodge and until two months ago was also affiliated with the Woodmen organization and with the Green Bay fraternity. The news of this death came as a shock to friends for while it was known that not well, the seriousness of his condition had not been determined until Thursday and death came in a short time. He was a member of the North Side Bohemian society and was a young man well liked by a large circle of friends.
