C. James Parker 76, of Franklin went to be with his Lord Monday July 23, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. James was born in Chillicothe, Oh the son of Clair and Dorothy (Henry) Parker. He served in the Navy and worked as a Police Officer in Chillicothe for several years and also worked at GM as a Fire Sgt.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson. Jim is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty, 2 sons, Jim and Tim Parker, a daughter, Pamela J. Topp , 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He also leaves a sister, Robin Varney.
Funeral services will be Friday 10:30 am at the Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St. Springboro. Visitation will be Thursday 5 - 7 pm at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be made to the family at www.anderson-fh.com. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Butler/Warren County or the First Church of God on 704 South River St. Franklin.
