Elizabeth Kathryn Harmon, 93, of 401 West Seventh St., Oil City, died at 4:25 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2012, at the Golden LivingCenter in Oil City.

Born April 6, 1919, in Oil City, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Gertrude Gindle Lauer.

Mrs. Harmon was a 1937 graduate of Oil City High School.

A homemaker, Mrs. Harmon was a LPN at Grandview Healthcare in Oil City for more than 23 years.

She was married in August 1937 in Our Lady Help of Christians Church to Bill Dunkle, and he preceded her in death in 1981. In 1984 she married Russell Harmon and he preceded her in death in 1993.

Elizabeth was a member of St. Joseph Church and had attended St. Stephen Church for many years.

She enjoyed going to yard sales and playing Bingo.

She is survived by three children: Jean Gregg and her husband, Jason, of Noblesville, Ind., William Dunkle and his wife, Marjorie, of Pleasantville, and Robert Dunkle and his wife, Rose, of Titusville.

Also surviving are six grandchildren and their spouses, Stephen and Theresa Gregg, Sharon Ferneding, David and Janelle Gregg, Tracey and Mark Corbett, Stephanie and Richard Corbett and Rhonda and Ralph Terrill.

She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, Stephen Gregg II, Joshua, Zachary and Sarah Ferneding, Tseganesh and Rihobot Gregg, Cole and Dylan Terrill, and Chase and Mason Corbett.

Also surviving are a sister, Mary Lauer of Oil City, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Robert Dunkle; three brothers: Andrew Lauer, John Lauer and infant Thomas Lauer; and four sisters: Hilda Lauer, Gertrude Beczak, Louise Brown and Isabelle Stone.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the Reinsel Funeral Home & Crematory.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Father Matthew Ruyechan presiding.

Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
