LYONS - Mrs Anna King, 81, formerly of Lyons, died Wednesday in the Kansas Masonic Home, Wichita, where she had been a resident since 1963. Born July 31, 1884 at Seguin, Texas, she married William King Feb. 8, 1903 at Leakey, Tex. He died in 1948.
She was a member of Lyons Christian Church, OES. Rebecca Lodge, and Pythian Sisters, all of Lyons.
She is survived by daughters, Mrs. E. P. Albright, Junction City, and Mrs. Gerald Knackstedt, Bakersfield, Cal.; sons, Floyd, Lyons, and Glenn, Topeka; sisters, Mrs. Alice Gilleland, Uvalde. Tex., and Mrs. Everett Hopward, Corpus Christi, Tex.; brother, John L. Harris, Sabinal, Tex.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Porter and Sillin Funeral Home, Lyons, with the Revs. Clayton Hildebrand and Orvan Gilstrap officiating. Burial will be in Lyons Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home after 2 p.m.
