Employed with the Canadian Pacific Railroad as yard engineer for the past 22 years (since 1917) in Calgary. Walter Samuel Emfield, 65, 1211 10th Ave. E., died Monday afternoon in a local hospital after a three-week illness. He came to Alberta 29 years ago. Mr. Emfield was born in Ohio. He leaves his widow, Belle; a daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Flora May)Powell, and two granddaughters (Audry and Belle), all in Calgary. Rev. Paul B. Stone will conduct services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Jacques funeral home. Interment will be in Burnsland Cemetery.
