Funeral services for Corinne Belew, 89, of Tyler, are set for 2 p.m. Monday at the Sorrells-Peters Funeral Home chapel. She died Friday night at a Tyler hospital.

Burial will be in Brigham Cemetery.

She was born Feb. 14, 1897 in Winnsboro to Esra O. and Harriet Reeves Kiningham. She married Carson T. Belew. The retired nurse and former Greeenville resident was a member of Kavanaugh United Methodist Church. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include a son, Ben M. Belew of Mount Morris, N.Y.; two daughters, Peggy Clark of Bullard and Robbie Panzer of Garland; five sisters, Lella Morris of Beaumont, Varila Bridges of Houston, Arvie Stephens of Houston, Ila Allen of Ennis and Mildred Goldman of Houston; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, in 1960; a son, Carson T. Belew Jr. in 1972 and a sister, Ira B. Powers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. today.
