Adored wife of George Kemp and cherished mother of Marie Kemp.
Terri Kay died of pulmonary hypertension at the University of Alabama Hospital less than a year after receiving a heart-lung transplant. She was thirty-two years old.
I remember Terri fondly as a sweet, bubbly, happy brown-haired girl who loved to laugh and play games. I never saw her sad.
She is sorely missed and will always be loved.
Terri was preceded in death by her maternal step-grandfather, Harold C. Harvey.
Her maternal step-grandmother, Genevieve M. Harvey, passed away four weeks to the day after Terri's death.
Although Terri and I were not related by blood, by marriage she was my first cousin, twice removed.
