"THOMAS J. MOODY ANSWERS CALL OF GRIM REAPER"
Thomas J Moody, 79 years old resident of this city, passed away at the Ventura General Hospital this morning. Mr. Moody who was a native of Indiana, had lived in this city for several years.
Surviving him besides his widow, Mrs Martha E. Moody, are his son James Moody, of this city, and his daughter Mrs Charles Davison, of Ventura.
Funeral arrangements, which are in the hands of H.B. Skillin, have not been made as yet except that the funeral will be held in the Four Square Gospel Church.
**Thomas Moody's death certificate has his birth year wrong as 1861 but he is listed on a 1850 Orange Co Indiana Census as being 1 month old.**
