"MRS MOODY SUCCUMBS AT HOME OF SON"
Martha E. Moody passed away at 3 o'clock this morning at the home of her son, J.C. Moody, 222 Yale St. Mrs Moody, who was 80 years of age, was born in Orleans, Indiana in 1854. She is survived by one son, J.C. Moody, Santa Paula: three daughters, Mrs J.I. Graves of Ventura, Mrs Rush Taylor of Plad, Mo and Mrs George Cooper of Leon, Iowa: a sister Mrs Lavina Lindsey, Indiana. Mrs Moody is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 o'clock at the Four Square Church with the Rev. Ethel Singleton in charge. Skillins Mortuary is handling funeral arrangements. Interment is to be in the Santa Paula Cemetery.

Informant of the death certificate was a Tom Moody. She died of Chronic Myocarditis.
