Bernard (Barney) Daul, 57, 1522 19th St., Two Rivers, died at 8 p.m. Friday
at the Two Rivers Municipal Hospital as a result of a heart attack which he
suffered while at home Thursday afternoon.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Beduhn, Deja & Martin
Funeral Home, Two Rivers, and at 9 a.m. at the St. Luke Catholic Church. The
Right Rev. Msgr. C.V. Hugo will officiate and burial will be in the Holy Cross
Cemetery.
Daul was born in Luxemburg, Wis., Nov. 22, 1895, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard
Daul. He came to Two Rivers at an early age and married Alice Frasch in 1921.
They always resided in Two Rivers.
He was an employe of the Hamilton Mfg. Co., for 37 years and a member of the
Hamilton 30 year Club. He was also associated with the Goodfellowship Club and
was a member of the Holy Name Society of the St. Luke Church.
Barney, as he was known to a wide circle of friends, was a member of the
American Expeditionary Forces during the World War I and served overseas. He
was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1248.
Survivors include his wife; two children, Mrs. Arle (Carol) Koeppe of Manitowoc
and John at home; mother, Mrs. Bernard Daul of Green Bay; two brothers, Max of
Luxemburg and Mart? of Detroit; four sisters, Mrs. Ernest Lyme of Detroit, Mrs.
Mary Curran of Oconto, Mrs. Emil Modrow and Miss Margaret Daul of Green Bay;
and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday where the rosary will
be recited at 7:45 p.m. Sunday.
