Annie Laura AUSTIN was daughter of:
Wright W. AUSTIN & Laura Frances HODGES.

She, died a horrible death from the genetic illness, Huntington's Disease (HD) with its 10-15 year convalescence. Unfortunately, misdiagnosed, common in the 1960's, the medication received, Lavadopa, caused Levodopa-induced dyskinesia, worsening the violent jerking/movements.

It is positive the HD gene came from her, as both her biological children, Eloise McCorkel and Carson Johnson, both having different fathers, yet died of the same illness. The HD gene is believed to have been inherited from her father.

At-least four of six of her children were diagnosed having HD. Since Juvenile HD does exist, and the exact cause of Little Lamar's death is unknown ...

Married: Henry W. Johnson, as a widow with one child, Johnie Eloise McCORKEL

She and H. W. Johnson had 6 children:
Henry Carson JOHNSON b.Jun 27, 1920
Lamar JOHNSON b.Jun 07, 1922
Cassie Elizabeth JOHNSON b.Jun 11, 1923
Rudolph Reginald JOHNSON b.Oct 26, 1925
Sheddie Wesley JOHNSON b.Sep 06, 1929
Dora Frances JOHNSON b.Jun 08, 1931
