Funeral Services for Mrs. Amelia Allen, 73, of 2102 Jefferson St., Two Rivers, who died Saturday morning at Milwaukee, were at 9 a.m.
Tuesday at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, and at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Rev. James Stamborski officiating. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen, nee Amelia Bonk was born Dec. 21, 1896, at Two Rivers, a daughter of the late Anton and Mary Smongeski Bonk. She attended Sacred Heart Parochial School, the former Manitowoc Business College, and the Milwaukee conservatory of Music. She had served as an organist at various churchs at Milwaukee, Green Bay and Two Rivers. For a number of years she was secretary of the Manitowoc County Highway commission. On Jan. 14, 1922, she was married to Archie Allen at Milwaukee. He preceded her in death in January of 1969.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Arthur Salveson of New York, and a number of nieces and nephews.
