MRS. TEXAS M. O'DELL

Mrs. Texas Ruth Martin O'Dell, 90, of Route 2, Ridgeway, died Monday evening at her home. She was the widow of Ernest E. O'Dell.

A native of Patrick County, she was born Sept. 15, 1885 to the late David and Mary Elizabeth Deal Martin. She was a member of Christian View Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Goldie Hodge, Sandy Ridge, N.C.; Mrs. Velda Hall, Danville; Mrs. Dorothy Woods, Ferrum; and Mrs. Lucille Grogan, Mrs. Mamie Coleman and Mrs. Gladys Cardwell, all of Ridgeway; four sons, Lemley and Harry O'Dell of Ridgeway, Cecil O'Dell, Bassett, and Alvin O'Dell, Spencer; 30 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Mrs. Lydia Ann Martin, Lawsonville, N.C.

The funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Christian View Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

The body will be taken to the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mamie Coleman, this afternoon, from Stone Funeral Home.
