Darryl was born in Fontana, to Wilburn & Shirley (Correll) Horn; He was raised in Bloomington, California; he graduated from Bloomington HS, and went on to attend Cal Poly in Pomona. He worked for Fonana Steel for several years, before taking a job with an international corporation, making medical equipment. He moved to Arizona in 1998; He is survived by his parents and has one surviving sibling, Jeanne Dawson; He never married.
